Aims & Objectives

Our aims

  • Promote positive behavior change through communication and education.
  • Create a supportive environment for improving the health of young people through policy and advocacy.
  • Build individual, community and institutional capacity to plan, implement, evaluate and sustain activities.

Our objectives

  • To establish and promote youth services (recreational, educational, vocational, counselling, psychosocial support).
  • To help communities manage and track the health and development of young people.
  • To help young people develop and strengthen their life skills, giving special consideration to the most vulnerable groups (girls and young people with disabilities).
  • To develop and disseminate information and knowledge relevant to the needs of young people, with specific attention to HIV/AIDS and reproductive health.
  • To provide young people with options for economic independence and social responsibility.
  • To help build a community structure that is responsive to the needs of young people.
