The SAFY football team Sport & RecreationThe young people of Kitamanyangamba slum live in squalor, with little education or health care, and few job prospects. They are at risk of getting involved in drugs or crime, or of contracting HIV/AIDS. SAFY's Safe Alternatives Project provides recreational activities to help young people stay safe, and to encourage them to build their self-esteem and get involved in their community's development. We offer a range of activities for girls and boys, including sports, drama, indoor games and educative shows. Young people are welcome to get involved as they wish, and some of them run their own activities at our Centre. We believe our support is having a profoundly positive impact on their behaviour and development. You can make a differencePlease, make a donation today. |
