Sarah runs a counseling session at the SAFY Youth Centre
Sarah Hady Nsiigare, 20, Kitamanyangamba
“Before SAFY came to our community I used to be a easy going girl, that means I couldn't resist who comes out for me because of the bad group I had, I could just go because I had no choice. I lost respect from everyone.
“But ever since SAFY come to our community it came as a savior to me. For example I was among the young people chosen to be trained as Peer Educators and I am proud of it. I was trained freely how to be myself and not just follow other people and now I gained my respect back and everybody love me for that.
“Since my childhood I dreamed of becoming either a nurse or a hairdresser. I am sure I will get one of my dreams.
“This goes to all my fellow youth, more especially girls: think twice before acting, know that your life is precious so guard it well, loves you all. God bless you because he is the provider.”
